Teacher Evaluation form will be sent to teachers after applications have been submitted.
Mandatory parent meeting Thursday, February 5th, 2026 at 6:00pm
You will not be able to tryout if the coach have not spoken to your parents.
Tryout packet + contract will be given out on this day.
Tryout packet needs to be turned in completely filled out before 2/23
A copy of your SM1 Report Card and Progress Report (PR6)

February 5th (Thursday): MANDATORY Parent and candidate meeting in the SWHS Library 6:00pm for all candidates, including returning members
February 23rd: Applications/Forms due by 4:00pm to Coach Irhirhi.
February 23rd - 25th: Tryout clinic 4:30pm-6:00pm SWHS Dance Room
February 26th: Judges Panel tryouts 4:30pm – 6:30pm, SWHS Dance Room
Announcement of cheerleader squads for 2026-2027 (via team email)
March 2nd at 7pm: Houston Elite Cheer (5430 Brittmoore Rd., Houston, TX 77041) , try to make it 30 minutes before for registration.
Register for cheer training on this day, Monthly payments of $75
March 3RD: Black Uniform Fitting
1st Payment due on this day ($222)
March 24th: First week of practice with new team for Spring Game!
Practice 2 days a week until spring game!
PAYMENTS DUE TO VARSITY:
March 20th: 2nd Payment
April 10th: 3rd Payment
April 24th: 4th Payment
All payments may be made earlier than due dates.
May 14th - Spring Game (Your very first performance as a SWHS Cheerleader)
