Our Spelling Bee will be in-person.
Guests are welcome at the SBISD Spelling Bee, please check in at the front reception area outside the auditorium. Spellers may begin arriving at 8:15 and should arrive by 8:30.
The first several rounds will contain words from Bee Difficulty Levels One and Two.
Bee Difficulty Level Three words will include "School Spelling Bee" words but NOT "Words of the Champions.”
Early Round(s) are selected from the School Spelling Bee Study List, Bee Difficulty Levels One, Two and Three
Middle Round(s) are selected from Words of the Champions, Bee Difficulty Levels One and Two
Final Round(s) are additional words selected from the dictionary, not from Scripps study materials.
In addition to the spelling rounds, the Regional Spelling Bee may (TBD for 2025 bee) also include vocabulary rounds
