Classroom Expectations

In my class I use a 'Token-Reward' System, which means that students are rewarded for positive behaviors and there are consequences for negative behaviors that impact learning and our classroom environment.

-Visual charts to help students monitor behavior throughout the day.

-Tickets to add to our class cache to build toward incentives as a group.

-Loss of tickets as consequence for negative behavior.

-More serious behaviors will be handled according to school guidelines.

Our focus is on creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all learners. Expectations will be explicitly taught in the first few weeks of school and will be revisited frequently throughout the year.
