Thank you for your interest in joining Sport on the Move Foundation! We're excited that you want to be part of our mission to empower (para)athletes and create a stronger, more inclusive community. Here’s what you can expect next in our recruitment process:
We’ll read through your answers to understand your motivation, availability, and any experience you may have. We’re looking for passion, openness, and a willingness to learn - more than perfect qualifications.
Based on your responses, we’ll shortlist a group of candidates who may be a good fit for the roles available. If shortlisted, we’ll invite you to a short, informal interview (in person or online). This is a friendly conversation to get to know each other better—no pressure!
If the match feels right, we may invite you to complete a small trial task related to the role you’re applying for. This gives you a chance to try it out and helps us understand how you work. Aspiring board members will also be invited to join at least one board meeting.
After the trial, we’ll give you feedback and have a short reflection conversation. If it’s a good fit for both sides, we’ll officially welcome you as a volunteer and start onboarding!
