Metrics for considering moving to full remote:
Must have 18 new cases in Fulton County for the week (50 per 100,000 population) (Fulton County Numbers below on the blue line)
7 days of increasing positive cases (county or district) - new cases in the county is the pink line on the chart below
7 days of increasing number of students self-isolation or quarantining - district numbers in the chart below
We must meet all three of these criteria before even considering pivoting to full distance learning.
Since this is a new experience for everyone, our plan is based on the metrics above, but if there is another metric that appears to cause alarm, the board will review the situation and may make an exception and pivot to remote in the interest of the health of our students and staff.
The main exception would be if the number of staff affected is such that we can not adequately and safely serve our students.
The disruption will start with a length of at least 14 days but will be determined by the specific situation.
