About the director

I've wanted to be a band director since I was thirteen in Mr. Ansberry's band class. I am currently in my 10th year of teaching (a career which has taken me worldwide). In my career, I have taught in rural and urban schools both overseas and domestically. My previous posting included experiences in Abu Dhabi, Beijing, and Dutch Harbor, Alaska. My mission as a teacher is to try to be as cool as Mr. Ansberry was, to be around and teach as many musical concepts as possible.
