Why Study Spanish?

Spanish is the fourth most widely spoken (romance )language in the world and in the United States following English. Furthermore, it is co-official with English in New Mexico (CA).

A knowledge of Spanish widens the opportunities to reach more people to serve in God’s purposes.

A second language is required in High School in order to graduate. Once in college a test might be able to be taken to have credits added to your advantage.

Spanish is considered one of the six official languages of the United Nations.

Spanish is the mother tongue of at least 19 (21)countries.

A knowledge of Spanish in the United States may provide job opportunities that may make a difference between having a job or not (depending on the state and job)
