We believe in the “Youth-led, Adult-sponsored” philosophy.  The Scouts lead and run the meetings, outings, and calendar planning, while the adults make sure the program is delivered properly and safely.  We strongly encourage advancement, but we never force it - advancement is the Scout’s choice, and they set their own pace. We don’t do “lock-step” advancement. And many great Scouts never became Eagle Scouts.  Our program focuses on core outdoor skills.  We try to encourage scouts to give back, to volunteer and staff council events (Klondike, Webelos Weekend, NYLT, Camporee). We provide Scout’s the opportunity to reach the highest Scouting Rank of Eagle.
