Hi I'm Miss Washuta! This year I am teaching seventh grade writing workshop. I graduated TCNJ with a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Special Education. This is my fifth year teaching at Park, and I am loving every minute of it!

As a teacher, I try to make learning fun and to incorporate technology into most of my lessons. I want my students to feel comfortable throughout the learning process.

Outside of school, have many different interests. I love to write stories and read almost anything I can get my hands on (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, magazines, websites, even the back of the cereal box!) I have an adorable dog, Penny, who keeps me laughing almost constantly. I enjoy baking cookies, traveling, and watching hockey.
