Welcome to Ms. Whichard's 6th Grade Writing Workshop! This 2022-2023 school year, I look forward to working with you as we master various writing skills and dabble in numerous genres. I absolutely love writing and am very excited about the adventure that awaits us both this school year. We’ll work hard, but we’ll also have a lot of fun. I believe a writer lives within us all and I’ll help you find yours. I know that change can sometimes be scary and uncertain, but it can also be a fabulous opportunity to grow and experience amazing new things. I want to assure you that you are in very good hands and that I will do everything that I can to make this transition to 6th grade as seamless and smooth as possible. My promise to all of you as we start the new marking period together is that I will always be on your side and in your corner. Our journey is just beginning and it’s going to be a wild ride, so buckle your seat belts, and let’s go! I am so excited to get to know all of you! I am positive that we will have a successful school year and build an amazing classroom community together.
