What do Health Science Careers look like?
A career in health sciences encompasses a wide range of professions dedicated to promoting, maintaining, and improving health. This includes roles such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists, medical researchers, and allied health professionals like physical therapists and radiographers. Health science professionals work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, research institutions, and public health organizations. Their focus may span from patient care to scientific research, contributing to advancements in medical knowledge and healthcare delivery.

Career Pathway:
There are hundreds of related careers in the Health Science Career Cluster, some more similar than others. By classifying these similar careers into narrower categories called pathways, it helps individuals look at a range of options when it comes to employment in an area with similar skills and knowledge. Although this system of classifying careers into clusters and pathways is helpful in navigating career options, it is not the only way. This module aligns with all of the pathways within the Health Science Career Cluster and will be discussed in greater detail throughout.
