~ Little Explorers (Aug. 4th-14th) 🏫
Our summer school class will be a great opportunity for students to become familiar with their classroom and teachers and will make for an easier transition to school at the end of August. It is being taught by our Early Childhood and 4K team. Our day will be filled with songs, stories, projects, and playtime both indoors and outside, as well as snack time. This is open to students who will be entering 4K this fall.
~ Kinder Kamp 🎒
Get ready for school five days a week. This class will incorporate reading, math, play, music, and movement in a fun and engaging class. Students will work on social skills and have a snack time as well. This will be a great way for students to keep their newly learned skills sharp and will be open for students entering Kindergarten.
~ Super Scrappers 🖼️
Get ready to have some fun working on all those pictures that are on your phone or printed out! This class is for anyone who is excited about creating their very own scrapbook. We will learn how to design pages and covers, create titles and captions and have fun just talking about our pictures. It will be so neat to see these albums when you are really old; like twenty-something.
(Don't forget to print and bring a lot of pictures to work on in June). This class will be open to students entering 4th-8th grades.
~ Board Silly 🎲
It's time to put the electronics down and bring on the fun with board and dice games. Board games are meant to be relaxing, they improve kids' skills of taking turns, good sportsmanship, problem solving and respecting rules. So come join us for Scrabble, Monopoly, Scattergories, Checkers, 5 Second Rule, Yahtzee, Crazy 8's and More! Open to students entering 1st-4th grades!

~Summer Art Class 🖌️
Did you just not have enough art class this year? Maybe you’d like to do more painting or learn more about how to draw. Try making art with different kinds of materials. Sign up for summer school art and have access to all the supplies and fun you could hope for! This is a chance for exploration, drawing practice, and creative fun! This class will be open to studnets enters 1st-8th grades.
~ Spectacular STEM Fun 🔬
Create and learn about all things science and technology! This class takes you through an adventure of different experiments, lessons, coding, technology, and so much more. If you jump into this class, you will be able to learn what it takes to be a curiously fun scientist and technology guru! This class will be a hybrid of computer work, programming robots, science experiments, and outdoor activities. This class will run for students entering 3rd-6th grade.
~ Fitness & Fun with Football 🏈
A class to work on football related skills, drills and a chance to play flag football. Each day we will start out with a dynamic warmup stretch then move into some speed work. Then we will have daily drills that we will work on. We will also work on throwing and catching along with other basic skills. After that we will play flag football for the rest of the class. This will be open for students entering 3rd-6th Grades.
~ Game On: Summer Edition 🤾
Get ready to move, play, and have a blast in this high-energy summer PE class! We’re taking all your favorite games and activities from the school year and turning up the fun for summer. From exciting team sports to classic playground games and new challenges, every day is packed with action, teamwork, and laughter. Join us to stay active, make new friends, and enjoy the best parts of PE—summer style! This class will run for students entering 1st-6th grades.
~ Track & Field 🏅
Who wants to be able to run faster and jump farther? If this is you, come join us to build speed, endurance and general athletic abilities. You will get to experiment with many different running and field events. Whether you want to jump in the sand, into a mat, or be the fastest kid on the playground, this is a class to do it all. This course will be open to students entering 3rd-6th grades.
~ Elite Hoops Academy 🏀
Get ready for a summer of hoops, fun, and skill-building! Join our Middle School Summer Basketball Class, where you’ll level up your game with awesome drills, exciting competitions, and plenty of game time. Whether you're a beginner or a budding star, we will help you improve your shooting, dribbling, defense, and teamwork—all while having a blast! This class will be open to students entering 6th-8th grades.
~ Swimming Lessons 🏊
Swimming Lessons at Colby will run from June 9th - June 26th, Monday through Thursday.
There will be 2 sessions of swim lessons taught at the Colby Swim Center. There will be a limit of 30 participants per session.
The first session bus will leave at 12:15 p.m. and return at approximately 2:00 p.m. Session 1 swim lessons will run from 12:45 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
The second session bus will leave at 1:15 p.m. and return at approximately 3:00 p.m. Session 2 swim lessons will run from 1:45 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Swim lessons are open to 2nd-5th grades.
Please have your child here prior to the time the bus will be leaving. Students should arrive dressed with a towel and be ready for the pool.

~ Into the Wild 🌳
**This will be a separate class run on Fridays in June from 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. (June 13th, 20th, and 27th ).
**There is a maximum of 30 participants in this course and will be on a first come first served basis.
Calling all 3rd-6th graders—get ready for an unforgettable outdoor adventure! This hands-on class is packed with exciting activities that spark creativity, teamwork, and a love for nature. From fishing and foraging to hiking, nature art, and wilderness skills, you'll explore the great outdoors while building confidence and having tons of fun!
What to Expect:
Solve group challenges & build leadership skills
Learn camping & outdoor survival techniques
Create nature-inspired art & enjoy outdoor reading
Identify plants, animals & even sample water from local streams
We’ll be outside rain or shine, so dress for the weather and bring your adventurous spirit! Students will meet at Spencer Elementary and take a bus to the school forest. Feel free to send a snack with your child.
Get ready to explore, discover, and play—out in the wild!
What we need students to bring- bug spray, sunscreen, shoes that cover feet, fishing pole (1 day for fishing day)/ life jacket, book, white t-shirt and swimsuit for water game day.
