Beth Meyer, MSW. APSW. QTT, meets with Spencer students once a week for students who need additional mental health services. Here is a little bit about Beth:
Working on LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) credentials
Experience in various mental health settings working with youth ages 4 to 17
Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy; Focused on providing creative, interactive, and individualized approaches to therapeutic interventions
Enjoys working with children and youth who have experienced sexual abuse; youth in foster care; behavioral/emotional concerns; individuals confirmed, suspected, or at risk of being sex trafficked; members of the LGBQT+ community
Specialized training in Motivational Interviewing
