"Spēks" is a Latvian word which translates to "strength" or "power" in English. (Julie's great-grandmother was born in Latvija, near Talsi.)

Growing up in Falmouth, Julie's family has, for decades, collected seaglass. The pieces have all been handpicked from beaches along the Vineyard Sound of Falmouth. With coaxing from her father (along with gifting his dremel drill), Julie began crafting jewelry with this collection of glass.

Jewelry is one of a kind and made with genuine seaglass. Pieces (of glass and jewelry) are perfectly imperfect and made with a deep connection to family.
