About the Position
Rehabilitation Sciences Internship

Hours: 10:00am-3:00pm
Internship Description:
Assist patients in their recovery by assisting in therapy sessions and daily operational/admin tasks. See patient care first hand.
Internship Learning Objectives:
Learn professionalism skills, initiative, bedside manner and disability 101. Learn to become comfortable working along side a multi-disciplinary Heathcare team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Interest in healthcare. Ability to be sensitive and understanding of those with different needs, and those who have disabilities.
Orientation required before a student begins his or her internship
Application and onboarding process for all volunteer includes application, medical records and background check for those 18+. First day orientation is provided.
Dress Code:
No jeans, close toed shoes, volunteer polo is provided by hospital
