As the Headteacher of St Barnabas and St Philip’s, I am proud to introduce you to our school. St Barnabas and St Philip’s has a strong tradition of academic excellence and a nurturing environment that allows every child to flourish and reach their full potential. 

Our school is a one-form entry establishment that provides a warm and welcoming environment for children from all backgrounds. We are committed to creating a community of learners who value respect, kindness, and perseverance, and we believe that every child has a unique set of talents and skills that we aim to unlock through our tailored approach to teaching and learning.  

As a Church of England School, we foster a strong sense of spirituality, encouraging our children to develop a deep understanding of the Christian faith and its values. We provide a rich and varied curriculum allowing children to find and showcase their talents and skills. We believe in educating the whole child, and we strive to offer a broad range of opportunities to inspire and challenge our pupils, both inside and outside of the classroom.  

Our Reception class is a particularly exciting place to be, as children begin their educational journey with us. We offer a stimulating and engaging environment that encourages children to explore, learn and develop. Our experienced and dedicated team of teachers and support staff work hard to ensure that every child is happy, safe and making progress.
