Special Olympics Ontario (SOO) is excited to announce the launch of our Hometown Games (HTG) program in partnership with Special Olympics Toronto. Hometown Games is an opportunity for athletes to compete and have fun in an all-inclusive environment!

Special Olympics Ontario (SOO) is proud to support Special Olympics Toronto during Hometown Games (HTG). Our mission is to create an atmosphere for athletes to compete in a fun, friendly and safe environment!

Saturday,  June 10th , 2023

Time:

9:30AM - 2PM

Venue: 

Centennial Stadium 

Location: 

56 Centennial Park Rd, Etobicoke

Events : 

50m*, 200m, 800m, 400m, 4x100m relay (in that order)

Standing Long Jump**, Running Long Jump, Shot Put Mini-Javelin

* If an athlete is entering 50m, they may enter 100m but not a longer distance

** An athlete may not enter both standing and running long jump

Athletes may select up to two track events and two field events

Cost: 

$10 per athlete payable to Etobicoke Track

*** All clubs are asked to offer two event volunteers (not club coaches), per five athletes to help with timing, recording, ranking, marshalling, etc. (off-season swim coach parents would be great!)
