Parent Communication
An open line of communication between the school and the child’s home is the best way to insure a successful education. Please use any of the following means to keep up to date on tour son/daughters progress.
· You may check your child’s grades through the Spearfish School District Website (https://www.spearfish.k12.sd.us) by using Infinite Campus. The login information was given to you at the beginning of the year. This will allow you to access their classes and keep current on the work that has been assigned. I strongly encourage you to check on this at least once per week.
· If you have concerns or questions you may call or e-mail me @
Phone: 605-717-1212
Email: sfortin@spearfish.k12.sd.us
Text the message @mrs4-10 to the number 81010. If you’re having trouble with 81010, try texting @mrs4-10 to (484) 241-4261.
· If you are unable to access the school website, please let me know and I will assist you in keeping track of your child’s progress. They have access at school every day and could bring these reports home for you. Teaching your son/daughter to be an independent and responsible learner will show great benefits in the future.
· Please feel free to communicate at any time!
This information is given to you to make it possible for us to have the most rewarding year for your son/daughter. Thank you for lending me your child for this school year and for your parental support for their education.
Yours in education,
