About Me

My name is Mrs. Penning and I’m so excited to be your teacher this year!

I am thrilled to begin my seventh year teaching! I graduated from BHSU with my Elementary Education degree and also went back to get my Masters in Reading.

I grew up in Spearfish and love this community. I'm married to my husband, Story, and we have two small dogs named Jasper and Jaci. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and being outside.
