Hello! My name is McKenna Goddard. I am a true Wyoming-ite that ventured my way over to a state known for the "Great Faces, Great Places" - South Dakota. I lived in Gillette, Wyoming my whole life and decided to pursue a degree in Math Education where the Black Hills were calling my name. After four years of hard work, I graduated Black Hills State University with a bachelor's degree in Math Education and a minor in History Education in the Spring of 2017. I also finished up my master's degree in Math Education in December 2021. I did my student teaching in Spearfish High School where I fell in love with the community and the school district. I began teaching math in the 8th grade in the Fall of 2017 in Spearfish where I also began coaching 8th grade volleyball. Go Spartans! Now you can find me continuing my teaching journey in the high school. On the weekends you will find me exploring the Hills with my pup, Scout and my husband, Austin. I love hiking, mountain biking, and hitting the slopes--really anything that is an outdoor adventure. :)
