LANGUAGE ARTS

HMH Into Reading is a research-based English Language Arts (ELA) program for grades K–6 that aims to help students become independent learners. The program is designed to meet the needs of teachers and provide students with a path to growth in reading, writing, and communication. It includes:

Whole-group and small-group instruction, direct instruction, individualized instruction, and differentiated instruction

Individual and collaborative print and digital learning activities, phonemic awareness, phonics, morphology, spelling, and fluency instruction

SOCIAL STUDIES

Your fourth grader will continue to build a foundation in geography, economics, civics, and history. In addition to that, we will be focusing in on the history of our state and region of the United States.

SCIENCE

Mystery Science is a science curriculum for grades K-5 that uses hands-on activities to teach students about scientific phenomena. The lessons are designed to engage students and encourage them to think like scientists, ask questions, and experiment.
