Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! I hope you and your family have enjoyed a wonderful summer. As we prepare to welcome students back on Wednesday, August 12, our teachers, staff, and administrators have been hard at work getting classrooms, campuses, and programs ready for another exciting year.
Whether you're a returning family or new to Springfield Platteview Community Schools, we're glad you're here. This edition of the Springfield Platteview Community Connection is designed to help you get ready for the school year and stay informed throughout the months ahead.
This school year marks an exciting time for our district as work continues on our voter-approved Bond 2026 projects. Construction is underway at Platteview High School, including the addition of portable classrooms, while other projects continue across the district. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as these improvements create even better learning environments for our students. We'll continue to share updates throughout the year as construction progresses.
