Parent Drop-Off/Pick-Up Procedures
Parent Drop-Off/Pick-Up Procedures
Drop-Off and Pick-Up will be at door A (main entrance).
Please call the KidsCare phone: 402-657-8125 when you arrive at the door and wait until a staff member is there to let your child into the building/dismiss your child at the end of the day.
Please have your ID ready to present to staff for authorized pick up.
Please be sure to call EVEN if you see a staff member at the door; this is imperative for our attendance tracking.

All children are to be picked up by 6:00 pm. Families will be charged for late pick-up at a rate of $20.00 per child for the first 15 minutes, and $15.00 per child for each additional 15 minutes of care provided.
Breakfast

KidsCare children will have the opportunity to enjoy breakfast provided by our district food service company, OPAA. The breakfast fee of $3.00 will be charged to your food service account each time they eat breakfast. Breakfast is available beginning at 7am, however if your child(ren) needs to ride the bus to Westmont, they will need to be at KidsCare NO LATER THAN 7AM.

Westmont children need to be at Springfield Elementary no later than 7:00 am (8:00 am on Mondays) to be able to eat breakfast (if they choose) and catch the bus to Westmont @ 7:30am (8:30am Mondays). Kids ride the bus back to Springfield in the afternoon. Westmont Elementary has an attendance list of KidsCare bus riders. Children must go straight to the bus when they are dismissed. If they miss the bus, you will be informed immediately and must pick up your child at Westmont Elementary school.
Please remind your child that riding the bus is a privilege and good behavior is expected.

If your child is not attending KidsCare in the AM, PM, or both, please let us know. We do not receive messages from the school(s) when a child gets picked up during the day or does not attend school. Please call or text us at 402-657-8125

Please note the following date range for our KidsCare program: 8/13/2025- 5/21/2026. KidsCare will be open on early dismissal days for enrolled students. Sign-up for this service is required 2 weeks in advance to ensure the correct amount of staffing. These sign-up forms are posted under the FORM tab.

Tuition will be automatically deducted bi-weekly on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month.
Tuition is based on enrollment and not attendance.
There will be 18 total payments.
Tuition is non-refundable.
We are excited to launch our school year program with your children!
