The primary purpose of the Mathematics program is to provide our students with experiences that enhance their Mathematical skills and allow them to be successful in modeling and reasoning real life experiences. Our students will gain an understanding and an attitude in Mathematics that will help them be successful in their careers and daily lives.
Our curriculum from K through 12 is rigorous and standards-driven. It integrates instruction, assessments, technology and policies that enhance and support learning. The Mathematics department offers accelerated courses starting in 6th grade to help develop students’ analytical skills. In addition, Advanced Placement courses are available at the high school in Calculus and Statistics
