The first day of the National Conference on Techno-Traditional Indian Knowledge Systems for Eco-Sensitive Coastal Settlement Planning was successfully organized on 26th September 2024 at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Vijayawada. The event was held in collaboration with the Institute of Town Planners India (ITPI) and brought together experts to explore innovative approaches to coastal area planning, blending traditional knowledge with modern technology.
The conference was graced by Dr. P. Narayana garu, Hon’ble Minister of Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Government of Andhra Pradesh, as the Chief Guest. The inaugural session witnessed the presence of Prof. Dr. Ramesh Srikonda, Director of SPA Vijayawada, and Shri N.K. Patel, President of ITPI, as Chief Patrons.
