80th Independence Day Celebrations at SPA Vijayawada

The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPA Vijayawada) on 15th August 2026.

The celebrations commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony at 9:15 a.m. by Dr. Ramesh Srikonda, Director, SPA Vijayawada, followed by his address to the gathering. The programme also featured messages from the Deans, Heads of Departments and faculty members, along with inspiring messages from students.

The celebrations continued with cultural performances by students, followed by the distribution of snacks. The event was attended by the faculty, staff and students of SPA Vijayawada, who came together to commemorate the nation's Independence Day with patriotic spirit and pride.

The 80th Independence Day celebrations were successfully held at SPA Vijayawada on 15th August 2026.
