About Me

       Hello, My name is Mrs. Mayes and I am a First grade teacher at Liberty Bell School. I graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a concentration in Health and Physical Education. I started working in Southern Lehigh School District in 2001. I have taught at Liberty Bell for 22 years.

       I have two girls, one that will be a junior in college and Frostburg State in Maryland and the other will be in twelve grade this year. My husband is a principal in Whitehall. We also have a  furry member of our family, a yellow lab named Maisy. She keeps us quite busy. In our "free" time we enjoy renovating our 1920's house, gardening, watching sports and spending time on Cape Cod.
