Welcome to General Music and Chorus at Joseph P. Liberati Intermediate School 

About Music Class:

In 4th Grade Music, we will learn how to play Orff instruments, learn about various other instruments, review our basic musical notation and even learn the words to the school's Alma Mater!

In 5th Grade Music, we will learn how to play the keyboard, learn about many Broadway Musicals and also do some acting ourselves!

In 6th Grade Music, we will learn how to play the ukulele, learn about the history of Rap Music and complete a research project on our favorite musicians!

In all three grades, we start each class with a Musician of the Week! We will learn about a different musician each week from many different genres! We've learned about so many from The Beatles to Luke Bryan! 

I cannot wait to make music with you all!
