If you are an 8th grade inductee of NJHS, you should already be enrolled in the NJHS classroom. Service hours are due October 4, 2023.

After this date, in-school rehearsals will take place for the induction ceremony which will be held on November 9, 2023. Any students who do not complete their service hours by 10/4/23 will be roved form the NJHS Classroom and will not be inducted.

If you are a current 7th-grader who is working to become part of NJHS, you need to have a 3.8 GPA after the end of the 3rd marking period. At that time, you will receive an invitation to complete a candidate information form. If you do so by the deadline, you will then complete 6 service hours by October of your 8th grade year. If you successfully complete these hours by the deadline, you will then be inducted as an NJHS member at the ceremony which now takes place in the beginning of November.
