What is NJHS?

The National Junior Honor Society is an organization that recognizes middle school honor students.

Seventh grade students can qualify at the end of the third marking period with an overall 3.8 GPA.   If qualifying students choose to accept the invitation to be inducted into NJHS, they need to complete six service hours by the beginning of October of their 8th grade year. The induction ceremony is then held in November. This is the only opportunity in the middle school for students to be a part of NJHS. When they are sophomores in high school, they will have another opportunity to join NHS.

This year's NJHS ceremony will take place on November 9, 2023 at 7 pm. All students who are involved are enrolled in a Google Classroom; important info is posted there for students and their families.
