About Me

Welcome to first grade! My name is Mrs. Burkhardt. I graduated from West Chester University with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and a minor in reading. I started my career at St. Thomas More in Allentown teaching Kindergarten. This is my seventh year of teaching and I am so excited that it is here, in Southern Lehigh School District.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my dog, Louie, and my daughter, Ada Jean. I also enjoy shopping, being outdoors and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth and fun! Please feel free to contact me with ANY questions at Burkhardtl@slsd.org
