Late work will not be accepted.
If a student is absent for an approved reason, they are responsible for contacting their teacher about making up the missed class work within 1 class period of returning to school.
Students who feel they will have a deadline issue must contact their teacher PRIOR to the deadline to discuss a possible extension.
Collaboration between or amongst students is not permitted unless explicitly stated by the teacher. Students are expected to work individually unless instructed otherwise. Teachers will inform students of expectations related to collaboration between students (or groups of students) on homework, projects, essays, assessments, laboratory reports, classwork, and all other assignments when collaboration is permitted.
Assignments will be posted in the room and on the website calendar weekly.
Any assignment that is collected in class cannot be turned in late, unless the student is absent for an approved reason. The assignment will be graded as a zero and recorded as Not Handed In (NHI) in Sapphire.
Copying someone else’s assignments (homework, classwork, labs, projects, etc.) or allowing someone to copy your assignments (homework, classwork, labs, projects, etc.) will result in a zero for the assignment and a discipline referral in accordance with the student handbook.
