Pre-event Build
Help build obstacles, set up tents and fence lines in Festival, and mark the course. If you’d like to see the behind the scenes of what goes into putting on a Tough Mudder event, this is the perfect shift for you!
Festival
Help our Festival Team on race days at the start corral, finish line, bag check, and other festival operations. If you like to be around fast paced action, this is the perfect shift for you!
Check-in
Help our Check-in Staff check in runners, answer questions and provide racers with their event items (training provided). If you’re good with tablet and can put a smile on bright and early in the morning, this is the perfect shift for you!
Course
Help our Build Crew on race day(s) by VERBALLY instructing and motivating racers over obstacles and through the course. Volunteers are responsible for reporting injuries, and serving as our eyes and ears on the course. Course volunteers help reset and/or break down some obstacles as well.
Mudder Experience
Help with tasks like greeting racers and managing check-ins at registration, cheering participants on along the course, or handing out well-earned shirts and medals at the finish line. This is the ideal shift for those who are new to volunteering or open to lending a hand wherever it’s needed most.
Pre Runner
Run the course pre-race to ensure weather (or animals!) have not disrupt the course overnight. NOTE: as some mornings are dark, we ask that you bring your own headlamp. Upon completion, you will be reassigned to on-course until the end of your shift.
Sweep
You will be responsible for following behind the last participant to ensure that no one is left behind or in need of assistance. You will be asked to assist our Course marking team with any adjustments, to collect course tape.
Breakdown Crew
Help build crew with obstacle breakdown, festival team with clearing festival area and packing.
Post event
Help break down obstacles on course, take down tents & fence lines, along with other festival tasks.
**We try our best to place you and your friends in your desired stations; however, in some cases we will ask volunteers to fill priority roles.
