Photo Consent & Access:
New update on how you opt in to biometric (Facial Recognition) photo search. At check-in: Sign the consent waiver and grab your wristband.
How it works:
Wristband on = you're in. We'll find your photos automatically via selfie search.
No wristband = you're out. Biometric search won't touch your photos.
This runs photo by photo, so check your wristband stays on throughout the event.
Not consenting? No problem:
Search by time: filter photos around your specific arrival times.
Browse galleries: scroll checkpoint photos by the time you came through.
Pre-purchased a photo package? Sportograf emails your access code and search link directly, no TM account needed. Same rule applies: wristband on = consent.

There is a chance that ingesting mud, and recreational water etc can cause illness, such as E.Coli. Please take care not to ingest the water and wash your hands before eating and drinking anything.
If you become unwell with sickness and/or diarrhoea symptoms following the event, consult your GP and tell them that you have taken part in a Tough Mudder event.
We also recommend washing any dirty clothes or trainers seperate to your usual washing and ensure they're safely handled at home.
Keep an eye on the weather as your event approaches. Be sure to bring sunscreen if it is warm and extra layers for the cold.
Try to avoid wearing any form of jewelry including wedding rings/bands. Additionally, whilst we allow watches and GoPros to be worn please be aware that these can easily be lost across the course and obstacles and are worn at the owners risk.
Try to avoid loose clothing that can get caught on barbed wire. Tight, moisture-wicking leggings, t-shirts and shorts won’t hold water and are less likely to chafe.
A comfy pair of running trainers are the best footwear, but they will get muddy so leave your box-fresh pair at home. Spikes, cleats and football boots are strictly prohibited.
For more advice on wearable tech, avoiding chafing and the age old debate on gloves, read our What to Wear blog.
