¡Hola y mucho gusto! 

My name is Elisabeth (Lis) Schuman, and this is my second year teaching Spanish at Sparta Middle School. I previously taught Spanish at the Sussex Charter school and worked for a non-profit. I am excited to meet your students and to embark on the adventure of learning a new language and new cultures!

I studied psychology and Spanish at Grove City College followed by a master's in foreign languages and pedagogy from the University of Delaware. I have spent a good deal of time in Spain and have backpacked through Central America. I love trying new foods, experiencing new places, and meeting new people!
