Sparta Alpine Open House

Please bring home the 'Welcome to First Grade' lanyard on your child's desk at Open House. This will be to assist students when navigating through the hallways when looking for our classroom the first few weeks of school. Please have your child wear it everyday until they are confident they know where our classroom is.

Welcome to Alpine Elementary School! My name is Ms. Soltesz and I am one of your child’s First Grade teachers! This year I will be teaching your child with Mrs. Gluchoski in Room 35!
I can’t wait to get to know your child, but first I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I graduated from Montclair State University where I received my undergraduate degree, and William Paterson University where I received my degree in Elementary Education. I am currently enrolled at William Paterson University, now working toward my Masters in Early Childhood Education.
I have taught First Grade for four years and I look forward to teaching First Grade again this year at Alpine Elementary School!
It is my belief that a child’s success is based on a cooperative parent and teacher relationship. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you throughout this school year. Your involvement, interest, and enthusiasm will help make this a wonderful year of growth for your child.
