The SMS Chorus meets by grade level during the school day for a full class period. In addition to learning a wide variety of choral repertoire to prepare for our concerts, students will also learn valuable sight-reading skills, music notation, solfege, proper breathing techniques, and healthy ways to use their voices. Students are encouraged to use this time to fully engage in music-making and self-expression, giving them a chance to explore different styles of music and performance within a group of their peers.
