What makes your performance different than other students who are maintaining their A average?
An "A" average is performing to expectations of the class everyday, being nominated a captain or franchise player, at their squad line and sitting after 5 minutes passed the late bell, completes all of the dynamic stretching drills, even winning a tournament with your team. An "A" average is being prepared everyday and participating.
What makes your performance grade more than that level of participation? All 6 points required
*Have completed more fitness tests than the required amount.
*Fitness tests will increase in intervals of 5, then 10, then 15 more as the marking continues. End number will be determined by how many days we do each event. I.E. just an example: situps girls 20, then next event 25, then next event 30, then next event 35. All adding on numbers to show increase of that baseline score compared to others that end on the exit numbers. If miss one of these benchmarks, you are then not eligible.
*Excellent sportsmanship
*100 % score on the quarter exam
*Both homework grades are completed on time.
*On the winning team for at least 1 unit (only if this was not the case for you on your team this marking period, explain how you were top tier student on your team. Need at least 4 examples, two from each unit).
*Write the 1 page brag sheet and turn it in on the day that it is due. All other papers late by 3pm of that day will not be accepted, and that work will not be credited. 2 brag sheets per marking period, one for each unit of activities.
Brag sheet must be written explaining how you met the above required material. All 6 of the above bullets must be met for there to be any opportunity for that A+ range. If student is missing one, you are not in that grade range.
To help build your brag sheet, you may also want to include any noteworthy accomplishments in class first marking period should be mentioned, as well as what you like about physical education so far. Quality of writing will be assessed as well as all other performance areas including all daily objectives and SGO output.
Essays (at least 1 page explaining all above points) can be emailed to teacher by that date announced in class
