Bio

I’m so glad you stopped by for a visit! I’m Ms. Frister and I am so grateful to be a teacher at Helen Morgan School! Before I discovered my passion for teaching, I enjoyed careers in marketing research and information technology.

While I love all school subjects, I am especially committed to guiding my students in achieving literacy for life! I am trained as a Wilson Reading System instructor and certified Orton Gillingham teacher. I also earned a Master’s degree in Education with a Literacy/Reading Specialist certification.

In my spare time, I love to travel, garden, cook, read, workout at the gym, hike with my dog, Stella, and spend time with friends and family. I’m looking forward to meeting each and every one of you! We are going to have a great year together!
