Mrs. Pugliese Room 36
Hello New Students!
My name is Mrs. Pugliese and I will be your teacher this year. You can find me in Room 36 at Alpine Elementary School. I live in Sparta, just like you, and I am married with two children and a dog named Jake. I cannot wait to meet you and hear all about your summer!
Our first day of school is September 2nd. Please pack a large, peanut free snack and a healthy lunch. You also may have a water bottle everyday to keep in your seat sack. Please only put water in the bottle and a top with a flip up straw is best for spills! Our first day specials are Gym and Media. .
There is a first grade supply list on this site, as well as on the Alpine School website. Extra glue sticks and black dry erase markers are always appreciated. We use watercolor paints pretty regularly and they are not listed as a supply on the general first grade list. Headphones are used almost every day, but do not seem to last all year. A second pair may be needed before the end of the year. I do not have any extra headphones in our classroom.
We are going to have a fabulous year together. We are going to read lots of books, write amazing stories, solve lots of math problems and figure out plenty of science experiments. This year you are going to learn and grow so much! I am so excited that you are in my class!
See you in September!
