Welcome to 1st Grade!
Hello families! My name is Mrs. Hantson, and I am so excited to be your child's 1st Grade teacher this year! We're going to have a wonderful year full of learning, growing, and exploring together.
A Little About Me:
I grew up in Sparta, New Jersey, and I attended Alpine Elementary School—just like your children, I once sat in a classroom filled with curiosity and excitement! Now, I’m blessed to be part of a busy and fun family of five. I love spending time with my husband and kids, going on adventures, and making memories together.
Teaching young learners is truly my passion. Nothing makes me happier than watching students grow in confidence and curiosity as they discover the joy of learning.
What to Expect This Year:
Building strong reading and writing skills
Exploring numbers, patterns, and problem-solving in math
Learning about our community, science, and the world around us
Social-emotional learning and making great friends
