Welcome and hello! My name is Mr. Grogaard and this is my ninth year teaching in the Sparta School District and thirteenth overall. I am beyond excited and proud to be a part of the Spartan learning community. My goal is to continuously add something special to an already stellar education culture.
As for my educational background, I received a B.S. in Sociology from Montclair State University and my M.A.T. in Elementary Ed. (K-6) and Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TSD) also from MSU. I have experience in educational/social-emotional roles including in home mentoring, behavioral assisting, paraprofessional work, co-teaching, and pull out services where I have experience teaching cross-curricular material to students in grades 3-6.
I am originally from Franklin Borough in Sussex County and currently live in Hackettstown, NJ with my beautiful wife and four wonderful sons.
