Hello! 

My name is Ms. Destiny Marcus and I am thrilled to be your child’s third grade teacher! 

I graduated from Ash Grove High School in 2015 and completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Missouri State University in 2019.  This past May, I completed my Master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. I am excited to bring in some of those new ideas into my teaching this year. This will be my fifth year teaching 3rd grade at Sparta Elementary. 

I am looking forward to a great year together. I am eager to watch your student grow as a reader, mathematician, scientist, author, historian, and critical thinker.  It is my goal that our classroom would be a safe place where students work together as a community of friends. I can’t wait to have an amazing year of new adventures and learning!
