Checklists and Acknowledgement
The South Carolina Employment Credential requires that students complete an initial acknowledgement form prior to the end of the 8th grade. Checklists that serve as annual updates on the student's progress toward completion are also required. For support on completing those actions, refer to the resources on the right.
Work Based Learning Experiences
Students who are participating in Work-Based Learning often need to complete permission forms, logs, and evaluations during their experiences. To the left, you will find the most commonly needed forms for students.
To complete the Work Readiness Requirement for the SC Credential, students will need to complete 360 documented training hours (not classroom seat time) and
1) Earn an approved Industry Credential (List HERE)
2) Complete an evaluated 40 hour internship at a single location
or
3) Pass the South Carolina Career Readiness Assessment with a score of (3) in all subtest areas.
