Hi, families!

 My name is Kayla May, and I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade Math and Science teacher this year! This will be my fourth year teaching, and I truly love helping students grow academically, build confidence, and discover a love for learning. 

I grew up in Gaffney but have lived in the Boiling Springs area with my husband, Josh, and our identical twin boys, Cohen and Corben, for the past seven years. Outside of school, you can usually find me at the lake, cheering on my boys at their baseball games, reading a good book, or spending time with family and friends. 

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Elementary Education. I believe every child can be successful, and I strive to create a classroom where students feel safe, supported, challenged, and excited to learn each day.
