Welcome to my class page for the 2024-2025 school year at Landrum High School! I am so excited to start this new year. I began my career here in January of 2021, teaching business and computer science classes.
I graduated from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) in 2017 with a Bachelor's of Science in Animal and Veterinary Science. After a few years in the workforce, I realized my true passion was in education. I obtained my certification through Teachers of Tomorrow in Secondary Business and Marketing, with additional training to teach Computer Science classes. This year, I will finish my Master's program at USC Upstate in Project-Based Learning. I feel in my classes it is important for students to be able to relate their studies to the "real world" as much as possible, and I am excited to further my knowledge of that through this program.
Outside of school, I enjoy going traveling with my husband, raising our sweet baby boy, Hank, spending time with our dogs, Izzy and Flash, teaching Hank how to ride his pony, Dolly Sparkles, and showing Tennessee Walking Horses.
My goals for your student are to introduce them to the business and computer science world, and foster their learning intuition in new ways. I am available Monday-Friday by school phone at 864-457-2606 (7:30am-9:15 am or after 3:30 pm) and email meme.jordan@spart1.org (7:30am-5:00pm).
