2 Excellent ratings and 32 Superior ratings!! That's what was earned by CHS Orchestra students when they went to SCMEA Orchestra Solo & Ensemble Festival held at Wade Hampton High School. We are so incredibly proud of these students! There's no better way to end our year.
Members of the CHS Orchestra traveled to Winthrop University to participate in the Music in the Parks Festival then enjoyed an afternoon of fun at Carowinds. Our performing ensemble earned a SUPERIOR rating AND earned 1st place in our division of competition! Way to go!!

The Chapman High School Orchestra was invited to participate in the 4th Annual Four Chaplains Day hosted by American Legion Post 45 at Inman First Baptist Church. Thank you to the small group of students that represented us well for this meaningful service.
Students performed along with District One Orchestra faculty for the SC Gifted and Talented Legislative Luncheon and were recognized in the SC House of Representatives by Rep. Steven Long. Erica, Emma, and Max were selected to represent the district as they were selected to SCMEA's Region Honors Orchestra.
