Mrs Pym

Jessica Atkins Pym is a native of Spartanburg County and attended schools in Spartanburg School District One. She holds a degree in K-12 Music Education from North Greenville University, studying horn under Gayle Cheesebro.

Mrs. Pym came to Spartanburg District One in 2008. While in District One, Mrs. Pym has taught music and band at Campobello-Gramling School, Landrum Middle School, Chapman High School, and Landrum High School. She has previously held teaching positions at Easley High School, Spartanburg Day School, and Saluda County Schools.

Mrs. Pym is married to Dr. Walter Pym. The couple lives in the Taylors area of Greenville County and are happily awaiting the arrival of their adoptive children. Their family is actively involved in Riverside Baptist Church, where the Pyms host a small group and play in the RBC orchestra.
