This local celebration of an important national holiday honors the great life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his mission to promote kindness + justice for all. The theme of Natick's 2026 MLK Day is "Build a Community of Justice & Hope: Facing Fear to Choose Courage". 2026 marks the 21st annual MLK Day Celebration in Natick.
When: Monday, January 19
Doors at 9:30am - Community Connection, with refreshments provided by Starbucks
MLK Day Program begins at 10am (the program will run for approximately 90 minutes)
Where: Natick High School Auditorium, 15 West Street, Natick
Audience: For ALL AGES, with special focus on being welcoming to families with school aged children
Featuring: This annual event in Natick, open to all, features:
Student musical performances from Natick High School West Street Jazz Combo and the Walnut Hill Jazz Ensemble, and more!

Connection + service + Justice. Each year Natick’s MLK Day Celebration has a highlighted a service project, and an opportunity for connecting with neighbors and community resources. Through the event, community partners also promote additional opportunities for individuals to engage in deeper learning and connection and actions(!) every day to promote justice and inclusion, stand up against racism and injustice in all its forms, amplify kindness, and build the beloved community, a community where everyone belongs.
