This local celebration of an important national holiday honors the great life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his mission to promote kindness + justice for all. The theme of Natick's 2025 MLK Day is “inaugurating hope in community.” 2025 marks the 20th annual MLK Day Celebration in Natick.
When: Monday, January 20 from 10-11am
Doors at 9:30am - refreshments provided by Starbucks
MLK Day Program from 10-11AM
Where: Natick High School Auditorium, 15 West Street, Natick
Audience: For ALL AGES, with special focus on being welcoming to families with school aged children
Featuring: This annual event in Natick, open to all, features:
Student musical performances
Middle School Creative Contest winners
Community leaders and partners
Interfaith Clergy representatives
The voices of Sound & Spirit, an intergenerational performance choir
Keynote: “Love is our Conviction” Artists and community builders, Amy and jamele Adams, will provide a journey into the importance of community, our responsibility toward greatness and how it is all based in incomparable love. The journey will be engaging, as it includes live art, poetry and our collective energy!

Connection + service + Justice. Each year Natick’s MLK Day Celebration has a highlighted a service project, and an opportunity for connecting with neighbors and community resources. Through the event, community partners also promote additional opportunities for individuals to engage in deeper learning and connection and actions(!) every day to promote justice and inclusion, stand up against racism and injustice in all its forms, amplify kindness, and build the beloved community, a community where everyone belongs.
