Dr. Monika Singh is an experienced Transport Planner with eight years of dedicated work across academia, research, and institutional consultancy. Her expertise spans a wide range of critical areas, including Gender & Mobility, Transport Equity, Freight Transport, Public Transport, Shared Mobility, Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), and the integration of social and equity considerations in transport planning.
Dr. Singh holds a PhD in Gender and Mobility from Transport Planning Department at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, underscoring her deep understanding of these specialised fields. She also brings two years of academic experience in transport planning, urban design, housing and project management to her profile. She has contributed significantly to Indo-UK collaborative research on urban governance and has been instrumental in developing comprehensive mobility management plans and research on logistics sprawl. Published papers and presented at international and national conferences, her skill encompasses transport planning, urban planning, and women's mobility, supported by strong technical skills in GIS, AutoCAD, statistical software, qualitative analysis tools, office applications, and transport modelling software.
